In 2003 the two of us came to Curaçao on holidays to explore the island. We enjoyed it a lot! We decided to come back here the first three months of 2004 to see if we could settle here. Working and living on Curaçao!! Who wouldn’t want that? The three months were over before we knew it. We met a lot of people, and the sociable and relaxed atmosphere was something we didn’t experience in the Netherlands. Through the previous owner of this diving school, we gained experience in the ins and outs of a Curaçao diving school. He gave us a chance to put everything we had learned into practice. We enjoyed it so much; we really didn’t want to go back to the Netherlands. But we still had our jobs and a home there. We went back to quit our jobs and sell everything. It started out as a joke; us taking over the diving school. That “joke” has resulted in us running our own diving school and doing what we like best every day. We hope that everyone who comes here, upon leaving, will say they had a great time!
